John Pearce
President and CEO, John Pearce, brings more than 30 years of executive and operations experience in the technology industry to Demandware. Prior to joining Demandware, Pearce served as CFO at AppIQ where he led all business model and financial matters and facilitated the company's acquisition by Hewlett-Packard in 2005. Pearce also co-founded SilverStream Software (SSSW, NASDAQ) and served as the CFO, Vice President of International Operations, and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. As the CFO and Vice President of International Business at Watermark Software, Pearce grew the business through to its acquisition by FileNet Corporation in1995. Earlier in his career, Pearce held various operational and finance positions. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Curtin University, Perth, Australia.
Stephan Schambach
Stephan Schambach is Executive Chairman and Founder of Demandware, provider of the leading on-demand eCommerce platform for consumer brands. Prior to founding Demandware in 2004, Schambach was CEO of Intershop, an eCommerce company he founded in 1992, built to market leadership, brought public in 1998 on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's Neuer Market, and led to a successful NASDAQ listing in 2000. Long an eCommerce visionary, Schambach was among the first to recognize eCommerce as a major software market. He is the developer of a number of industry standards for the technology and also produced the first integrated eCommerce software package, enabling major global brands to sell and service over the internet. Schambach also currently serves as a board member of the SIIA (Software Information Industry Association of America) Software Division and regularly speaks in the industry about emerging technologies. Earlier in his career, Schambach studied physics at Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany, and was among the first to found a company in East Germany after the Berlin Wall came down.
Jeffrey G. Barnett
Jeffrey Barnett is Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Account Management, responsible for sales, business development and client success. Barnett brings more than 20 years industry experience to Demandware. He joins the company from Siebel Systems, Inc. in London, where he was Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with responsibility for Siebel Self-Service Revenue attainment in that region. Prior to Siebel, he served as Managing Director, International Operations, and Vice President, International Sales and Marketing, respectively, for Edocs, Inc. through to its acquisition by Siebel in January 2005. Earlier in his career, Barnett held positions at ArborText, Inc., where he was Vice President of Operations, and Kenan Systems Corporation, where he was a co-founder of the billing practice and a director through to its acquisition by Lucent Technologies. Barnett holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Tony Leach
Tony Leach is Executive Vice President of Worldwide Client Services, and leads Demandware's implementation, support and training organizations, dedicated to best-in-class customer service across geographies. Leach brings a wealth of experience in creating, organizing and managing the operations of international consulting businesses. Prior to joining Demandware, he was the EMEA Executive Vice President and General Manager for E.piphany, a leader in customer relationship management solutions. Leach also served as the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Consulting for Oracle from 1994 through 1999, where he was responsible for the strategic operations of the 13,000-person, $1.5 billion global consulting organization. Prior to Oracle, Leach was a partner with KPMG, specializing in IT Strategy, Strategic Implementation and Change Management. He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Management Accounts, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Jamus Driscoll
Demandware Vice President of Marketing, Jamus Driscoll, is responsible for marketing and business development and for leading the company's marketing communications, product marketing and product management. He joined Demandware from Oracle Corp., where, as Director of Marketing, he was a member of Oracle Retail's marketing steering committee and leader of the marketing teams for Solutions Marketing and Customer Marketing. Prior to Oracle, he was at ProfitLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise merchandising software, where he was the Director of Solutions Marketing responsible for positioning and marketing to primary enterprise customers. Before joining ProfitLogic, Driscoll served as Industry Marketing Manager at Ascential Software, a provider of enterprise data integration solutions, and was responsible for market analysis, strategy, and go-to-market tactics for the financial services industry. Driscoll holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Haverford College.
Phillip Jefferson
As Vice President of Client Services, Philip Jefferson is responsible for directing the design, structure, implementation, and continuous improvement of Demandware's solution delivery model. He brings extensive experience to his new position, spanning product development, systems integration and management advisory services in a variety of industries including finance and telecommunications among others. Before joining Demandware, Jefferson was the Global Solution Leader in the CRM Optimization Group at MasterCard. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director in charge of service offering development and delivery for Watch Hill Partners, Inc. Earlier in his career, he held senior level positions at a number of companies including Price Waterhouse, Groupe Bull, and Covansys. Jefferson holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering and computer science from Brown University.
Tom Griffin
As Vice President of Business Development, Tom Griffin is responsible for all Channel and Alliance development at Demandware, including all channel sales, and partner programs. He joined Demandware from Sterling Commerce where he was Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances and led the development of a new corporate strategy and program for alliances. He joined Sterling Commerce through Sterling's acquisition of Yantra Corporation, where he was Vice President of Strategic Alliances and had a distinguished track record of creating revenue generating, strategic relationships. Prior to Yantra, Tom was with Siemens Business Services, where he held a number of progressively responsible positions in Sales, Business Development and Marketing. Griffin holds an MBA from Boston University, and a Bachelor's degree in History from Washington University in St. Louis.
Wayne Whitcomb
As Vice President of Engineering and Technology for Demandware, Wayne Whitcomb is responsible for product development and delivery, including strategy, architecture, development, quality assurance and technical operations. An industry veteran, Whitcomb has 25 years of experience in a variety of R&D, engineering and operational management positions. Before joining Demandware, he served as Vice President of Engineering and R&D at NaviSite, where he was responsible for datacenter engineering and emerging technology research. Previously, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Mirror Image Internet, and as Vice President of Engineering and Operations for MyWay.com, a subsidiary of CMGi. Whitcomb holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), magna cum laude, from University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Ulrike Mueller
As Chief Software Architect at Demandware, Ulrike Mueller is responsible for leading the R&D team in designing and developing the company's on-demand eCommerce platform. With nearly 20 years experience as an engineer and manager, Mueller has worked at all stages in the development and product life cycle. Prior to joining Demandware, she was Chief Software Architect at Intershop, where she was responsible for the concept and design of the company's Enfinity technology. She holds a Master's degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
David C. Boyle
As Chief Infrastructure Architect, David Boyle is responsible for the design and ongoing refinement of the Demandware grid. His focus is primarily on the monitoring, management and provisioning mechanisms that power the company's on-demand platform. Previously Boyle worked at Navisite Inc. as a Director of Product Architecture and as Director of Emerging Technologies. Earlier in his career he was the Co-Founder and Vice President of Technical Services at ServerCast Communications, and the Technical Director at Media Access Systems.
