We take go out of our way to foster a strong sense of community at Demandware. Every employee enjoys a yearly paid day off to participate in a community service activity of their choice. One can pick from a number of company-sponsored programs including Toys for Tots drives, local volunteer days and annual participation in the Life is good Festival – just to name a few.

Another key facet of our culture – and our success – is the importance we place on communication. All Employees across the globe are invited to pose questions directly to our Executive Team during regular Town Hall Meetings. Raise your hand or submit a question in advance, no topic is considered off-limits. We also encourage open dialogue across peers, management and executive leadership. Doors are always open for discussion, to address issues, present new ideas or simply to ask a question. Knowledge sharing is also encouraged on our online company workspace, as a global vehicle for the exchange of ideas and information.
With great responsibility comes great reward. We believe that going above and beyond deserves to be called out. To that end, we have a peer-to-peer recognition program so employees can “Thank” each other for their hard work with a gift certificate to local restaurants. We also sponsor the Beyond The Call Award for bleeding edge ideas that move the Company forward as well as the Power of Teamwork Award for joint efforts that engender a shared approach to success.
