Thomas Ebling - President and Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Ebling has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board of directors since October 2009. Mr. Ebling previously served on our board of directors from May 2006 until December 2007. From October 2007 until August 2009, Mr. Ebling served as Chief Executive Officer of Lattice Engines, Inc., a provider of sales and optimization software solutions. Prior to joining Lattice Engines, Mr. Ebling served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the board of directors of ProfitLogic, Inc., a merchandising optimization solutions company, from May 2002 until it was acquired by Oracle Corporation in July 2005. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ebling served as Chief Executive Officer of Torrent Systems, Inc., a data warehousing and analytics software provider, and he held various leadership positions at Marcam Solutions, Inc., a software applications company. Mr. Ebling holds a B.A. in mathematics from Williams College and attended Harvard Law School. Mr. Ebling’s extensive executive leadership experience, knowledge of our company and comprehensive knowledge of the software solutions industry make him a critical asset to our company and board of directors.
Jeffrey Barnett - Chief Operating Officer
Jeffrey Barnett has served as our Chief Operating Officer since January 2013. He joined Demandware in 2005 as Executive Vice President of Field Operations. He previously served as Vice President of Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa of Siebel Systems, Inc., a software company, from December 2004 until September 2005. Prior to joining Siebel, Mr. Barnett served as Managing Director, International Operations of Edocs, Inc., a billing, payment, and account management software company, from May 2002 until December 2004, and as Vice President, International Sales and Marketing of Edocs from November 1999 until May 2002. Mr. Barnett holds a B.S. in computer information systems from Colorado State University and an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Wayne Whitcomb - Chief Technology Officer
Wayne Whitcomb has served as our Chief Technology Officer since helping found Demandware in February 2004. Prior to joining Demandware, Mr. Whitcomb served as Vice President of Engineering and R&D of NaviSite, Inc., a data center provider of complex managed hosting and services, Vice President of Engineering of Mirror Image Internet, Inc., a provider of online content and transaction solutions, and Vice President of Engineering and Operations for CMGI-MyWay.com, a consumer content portal and search engine. Mr. Whitcomb holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Tim Adams - Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Tim Adams has served as our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since June 2014. Mr. Adams served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of athenahealth, a leading provider of cloud-based services for electronic heath record (EHR), practice management, and care coordination, since 2010. Previously, Mr. Adams served as Chief Investment Officer of Constitution Medical Investors, Inc., a private investment firm focused on health care-sector-related acquisitions and investments, as well as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Keystone Dental, Inc., a provider of dental health products and solutions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Adams was Chief Financial Officer at a number of publicly traded companies including Orthofix International N.V., a diversified medical device company, Cytyc Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of clinical products focused on women's health, and Digex, Inc., a web hosting company that was acquired by Worldcom. Mr. Adams also held various executive level positions at Modus Media International, which was acquired by CMGI, Geotrust, which was acquired by Verisign, and GTE Internetworking / BBN Planet. Mr. Adams began his career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Adams obtained his Bachelor of Science from Murray State University and his M.B.A. from Boston University.
Elana Anderson - Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing
Serving as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Elana Anderson brings extensive experience as a marketing software executive, industry analyst, and marketing consultant with companies ranging in size from startup to Fortune 100 to her role at Demandware. Prior to joining Demandware in 2013, Ms. Anderson was the Vice President of Strategy and Product Management of IBM's Enterprise Marketing Management software group. She joined IBM in 2010 via the acquisition of Unica Corporation where she served as Vice President of Products, responsible for product strategy, product management, and product marketing. Before Unica, Ms. Anderson served as Vice President and Research Director of the marketing practice at Forrester Research, Inc. where she directed Forrester’s marketing practice while focusing her own research on customer marketing strategy, relationship marketing, interactive marketing, customer analytics, and marketing technology. Prior to joining Forrester, she spent nearly 15 years in various roles exclusively focused on marketing strategy and technology. Ms. Anderson holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Virginia.
Troy Brown - Vice President of Retail Practice
Troy Brown has served as our leader of the Retail Practice organization since joining Demandware in 2008. He is responsible for leading teams of account managers and digital subject-matter experts to help Demandware customers grow their businesses and fully leverage the platform. Prior to joining Demandware, Mr. Brown led Timberland’s worldwide online business as Sr. Director and General Manager. He was elected to serve on the NRF Shop.org Board of Directors for three consecutive terms, from 2006-2012, including serving on the executive committee for his last four years. Prior to Timberland, he served as Vice-President, Finance & Strategic Planning at Cabletron, and in several finance and operational leadership roles at Disney, including serving on the management team that opened Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Mr. Brown holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tulsa.
Nick Camelio - Senior Vice President of Human Resources
As Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Nick Camelio brings his more than 18 years of HR experience leading technology companies in all aspects of managing human capital initiatives including recruiting, compensation and benefits, learning and development and employee retention to his position at Demandware. Mr. Camelio joined Demandware from Salary.com where he served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, and led the company's strategic HR initiatives and programs, and oversaw the talent management function for the company. Prior to joining Salary.com, he served as Vice President of Human Resources at BrassRing Inc., a software provider in the Human Capital Management (HCM) space, offering enterprise software and outsourced recruitment services to Fortune 500 companies. While at BrassRing, Mr. Camelio successfully transitioned the HR function and facilitated the change in management after BrassRing was acquired by Kenexa Corp. Mr. Camelio holds a B.S. from Bentley University, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is also a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) through WorldatWork, and a certified Human Capital Strategist (HCS) through the Human Capital Institute.
Steven Chung – Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Steven Chung serves as our Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales responsible for enterprise sales, presales, business development, strategic alliances, channel sales, and sales operations globally. He brings over 18 years of experience leading technology sales, services, and operations for both large public companies as well as software start-ups. Mr. Chung has managed P&L operations up to hundreds of millions USD for public software companies such as Symantec/Veritas, Oracle, and MicroStrategy in various General Manager and VP of Sales roles. He also served as Vice President of Global Sales for ENXSuite, a SaaS start-up that was acquired by Infor, and Vice President of Global Services for Adexa, a supply chain software company. Prior to working in enterprise software, he served in consulting management roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to his IT career, Mr. Chung served as a Captain in the US Army’s 25th Infantry Division and Platoon Leader in the 2nd Infantry Division. Mr. Chung holds a MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan.
Jamus Driscoll - Senior Vice President & General Manager of EMEA
Demandware Senior Vice President and General Manager of EMEA, Jamus Driscoll, is responsible for leading the company's field operations in Europe. Prior, he served as Demandware’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Driscoll joined Demandware from Oracle Corp., where, as Director of Marketing, he was a member of Oracle Retail's marketing steering committee and leader of the marketing teams for Solutions Marketing and Customer Marketing. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Driscoll was at ProfitLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise merchandising software, where he was the Director of Solutions Marketing responsible for positioning and marketing to primary enterprise customers. Before joining ProfitLogic, Mr. Driscoll served as Industry Marketing Manager at Ascential Software, a provider of enterprise data integration solutions, and was responsible for market analysis, strategy and go-to-market tactics for the financial services industry. Driscoll holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Haverford College.
Sheila Flaherty - Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Demandware, Sheila Flaherty brings her extensive knowledge managing legal affairs at successful public and private corporations where she managed multiple mergers, acquisitions as well as public equity and debt offerings to help guide the company’s growth. Before joining Demandware, Ms. Flaherty served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal and Administrative Officer of Stream Global Services, a leading business process outsource (BPO) service provider specializing in customer relationship management for Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to Stream Global Services, she was General Counsel and Vice President of Abiomed, Inc., a publicly traded medical technology company. During her in-house career, Ms. Flaherty handled several large $100 million plus international private debt transactions and managed multiple mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as well several successful public equity and debt offerings. Ms. Flaherty earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and received a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center, in Washington, D.C., and studied law at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Rohit Goyal - Senior Vice President of Engineering
Rohit Goyal is Senior Vice President of Engineering and is responsible for application and e-Commerce feature development for the Demandware Commerce Platform. Previously, he was co-founder and VP of Engineering at neoSaej Corp. which developed patented technology for personal finance and e-Commerce verticals. Prior to neoSaej, Mr. Goyal was Director of Software at Enterasys Networks and held software engineering positions at Axiowave Networks, Lucent Technologies and Nexabit Networks. Mr. Goyal is the co-inventor on six patents. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Denison University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
Tom Griffin - Senior Vice President of Corporate Development
Tom Griffin is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, responsible for leading Demandware’s strategy development, fostering new growth initiatives, and managing the company’s partner ecosystem. Mr. Griffin joined Demandware in September of 2006 as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Griffin has worked in the retail and multi-channel industries since 1999, serving as Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Sterling Commerce (now IBM) and Vice President of Business Development for Yantra, a multi-channel supply chain solution provider. Previously, Mr. Griffin held various Sales, Marketing, and Business Development positions with Siemens Business Services. Mr. Griffin holds a B.A. in History from Washington University in St. Louis, and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
Rick Welch – Senior Vice President of Worldwide Services
Serving as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Services for Demandware, Rick Welch is responsible for Consulting, Training, Customer Support and Partner Enablement services. Before joining Demandware Mr. Welch served as Executive Director of the Advanced Cyber Security Center, a non-profit consortium of New England companies and universities. Before that, he was the SVP of Services for Unica Corporation, a Marketing Automation software vendor. Prior to joining Unica, Mr. Welch served as the SVP of the Data Security Software Division and also ran the Consulting business unit at RSA. Other leadership experience includes positions at Genesys Software and at Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Welch is an Adjunct lecturer at Boston University in their Executive Leadership Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and received his MBA from Boston University. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMI/PMP) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
