IRCE 2014 is just around the corner – and there’s a lot going on!

Our very own, Rob Garf, and client, CLARINS, will be speaking about international expansion in the Global E-Retailing track on day one.

Going Global: Best Practices to Preserve your Brand

Rob Garf, vice president of industry strategy and insights at Demandware, along with client Han Wen, vice president of digital and ecommerce Americas at CLARINS Groupe, will be leading a session called “Preserve Brand Value and Relevance Across Multiple Cultures.” The session will include real-world scenarios that explore the complexities brands may face as they pursue global expansion, and offer insights into how to overcome those technical and operational constraints to build a global ecommerce strategy.

The session will be held on Wednesday, June 11 at 2 p.m. CT in the Skyline Ballroom – Section C.

We will also have multiple demos, feature client retail environments within our booth, and give three lucky retailers a $10,000 shopping spree to our client, Pier 1 Imports.

Here’s a rundown of our activities and how you can get involved.

“Passport to Pier 1 Prizes”

Demandware’s ecosystem is made up of trusted partners that share our dedication to accelerating commerce growth and innovation. We are working with some of our LINK Technology Partners to give away three $10,000 shopping sprees to Demandware client Pier 1 Imports.

Interested in giving it a shot? Here’s how:

  • Pick up your ‘Passport to Pier 1 Prizes’ card at the Demandware booth (#1801)
  • Visit at least 10 participating partners’ booths to discover their solutions and get your passport card stamped by each
  • Turn your completed passport in to Demandware before 4 p.m. CT on Thursday, June 12 and be entered to win one of three $10,000 shopping sprees to Pier 1 Imports.
  • Winners will be selected and notified following the conclusion of IRCE.

Through our central commerce platform, we help retailers deliver the seamless “buy anywhere, service anywhere, fulfill anywhere” experiences consumers expect. An element of our product demo at IRCE this year will feature our new distributed order management capabilities that provide a single view of orders, customers, inventory, products and promotions. This functionality enables retailers to better process orders and optimize inventory across the enterprise.
