Through this partnership, you now can sell your products on Pinterest and reach new customers, using Buyable Pins.  Available on iOS and Android in the U.S., Buyable Pins let people buy things without ever leaving the Pinterest app. Millions of products are now buyable across 60+ million Buyable Pins. Integration Overview

Configured through the Commerce Cloud Business Manager, this integration enables Commerce Cloud clients to proactively deliver on their digital strategies through their existing platform -- the Commerce Cloud. Commerce Cloud clients can harness the best of both worlds: they leverage the Pinterest application to drive conversion without losing connection to a central commerce platform.

As soon as a consumer hits the Buy it button on the Pinterest app, Pinterest will send the purchase information, via OCAPI, to a merchant’s Commerce Cloud instance for charge, customer communication, and fulfillment processes similar to all other eCommerce orders. The experience for the consumer is the same as if they purchased directly from the merchant site. The retailer remains the merchant of record throughout the entire purchasing process and never loses the relationship with the consumer. The order is captured and processed through Commerce Cloud the same way a direct order would be processed. Buyable Pins functionality is enabled on iOS and Android devices to retailers selling in the United States.
